The Daytime Emmy nominations were announced this morning on "The View". Unfortunately, Kassie was not nominated for an acting award this year, but "Little Starr", the song she performed in the musical episode, did receive a nomination. OLTL was also nominated for Best Show and Brian Kerwin (Charlie) was nominated for Supporting Actor. Go here to read the full list of nominees. The Daytime Emmy Awards will air live on ABC on Friday, June 20th.

Nominations for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced Wednesday, April 30 on The View. The nominations will be read by All My Children's Rebecca Budig and Cameron Mathison (Greenlee and Ryan), One Life to Live's Farah Fath and John-Paul Lavoisier (Gigi and Rex), Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney and Bryan Dattilo (Sami and Lucas), As The World Turns' Van Hansis (Luke) and Guiding Light's Marcy Rylan (Lizzie). Kassie was pre-nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress, so tune in to find out if she made the final cut.

Kassie and James DePaiva will be hosting Clarke School-New York’s 2nd Annual Spring Benefit Picture the Possibilities on Tuesday, May 20, from 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. The event will raise funds and awareness for the Clarke School, which provides programs and services for deaf and hard of hearing children in New York. The event will feature a one-night-only exhibit of photography by Bob Bessoir, Michael Easton, John Kenny and Rob Santeramo. Go here for more info.
